Points to note regarding our Curriculum model:
- We can ensure Art, Music and Drama are taught as discreet subjects at KS3 with 2 hours each per fortnight throughout the year.
- We are able to offer 4 hours compared to 3 hours for History and Geography at during our first curriculum phase.
- MFL subjects are French, Spanish and German.
- We also offer RE and COMMS as separate subjects and the tutorial programme supports these subjects also by offering time for topics to be explored further if desired.
- We offer a broad and balanced curriculum and therefore do not give extra weighting to core subjects as we want the students to have a range of experiences to build key knowledge and understanding and make informed decisions when they move into the second phase of our curriculum model.
- Students also have a tutorial programme which follows a programme of Personal Development.
